Last Saturday i went to the Borneo Orchid Exhibition at Tanjung Aru Beach (Beach 1) Aka Anjung Perdana. i actually reached there around 1.00pm and ready to take some photos. Guess what happen? Huh when i went in to the orchid garden or S**** i forgot to attached my Compact Flash Card to my camera.

So i don’t have any other choices other than go back to my home for the compact flash card. Because of that i have to postponed my schedule to 5.00 Pm.

So i took severals nice photo. here there are.

Notice the blur technique, instead of just taking the flower alone i decided to capture the twig so that the photo look even more beautiful and live.

often we saw people capture the main subject rather then the main object, however i decided to focus the background rather than the main subject. With the white green colour combination it makes the photo look refreshing.

See the background of the photo, it’s blurry with a nice texture of the net. this is another close up photo. The colour composition look very soft.

This is not an orchid, this is a dead twig that have a very unique presentation, i just can’t stay away from taking this nice flora.

For your information all photos taken used my Canon DSLR Rebel XT or Canon350D with 8.0mp Resolution. There is no setting changed here. Other than that i am using Canon 18-55MM Lens to do the close up.

It took me 3 months to decide whether or not i should start my photography blog, Considering i never went to any photography school or learn the basic knowledge of photography. it’s really hard for me to make the decision (which i finally made). I was afraid i wont be able to handle all the bad and the good comment from the Professional Photographer(Well you know what i mean), worries about not being able to feed and serve the best meal for my visitor. and the biggest worries was not to have any visitor to come and support me here

i finally took a brave decision to start this blog, Regardless what people in my area of interest will whining about my blog. I always believe nobody is perfect, Do you know why did i start this blog?. Beside the fact, there is thousands blog available on the net discussing about Digital Photography. One simple reason is “Whatever i know about digital photography might be different from others, we are different, our level of knowledge are different so there is no harm to have another Digital Photography Blog! everybody have a different level of interest about digital photography! i might found your blog interesting in a way and vice versa :).
