hmm…. the design kan bukan original… like all the batik fabric kena tampal sija on a plain fabric…. quite dissapointing…

it will look great if their use the original batik fabric and pattern on whole dress..:D

anyway.. I love the 1st picture (dress), the baju made me feel like want to see more on the Model..

i like the 1st dress too. the batik motif? urrmm…i think im more of a conservative person when it comes to batik…those above arent really batik motifs that i wud fancy. (that explains why i like the 1st pix..the motif is something from the past)

fashion design is nice and all,but dress no.7 needs to get rid of the ribbon….errmm and motif, well so so lar…but does the batik motif always need to be printed on silk material..too common..kinda disappointing, was hoping for something like make me go “wow, now this is the way to preserve culture!”..but nah..

i stopped by at Olumis pnya kedai this afternoon. well, they do have some good batik over there. yg bikin sa impressed is the fact that each motif is designed based on the various ethnic’s cultural motif…adalah murut motif, kadazan motif, rungus motif…buli tahan. and OKU lagi tu yg painted the batik. tapi lupa pula tanya harga…hehe
