The UK South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band - Coming To Sabah!

The UK South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band will be performing in Malaysia for the first time on 23rd August 2008, debuting in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, in a fund-raising charity concert for the Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu’s community projects at the Tun Raffae Auditorium, Yayasan Sabah.

I’ll be there as the official photographer and at the same time to enjoy the concert :)… You guys should be there too! and for those who never heard about this band before… Below is short details about the group.

The Band was formed in 1974 by the current Chairman and Musical Director, Mr. Mike Booty. Originally a marching band, its purpose is to give an opportunity for young people between the ages of eight and 23, to perform and play music with like-minded people. The Band has regularly performed fund raising concerts in UK, and on one occasion, played for and presented to HRH, The Princess Royal, at the Royal Albert Hall.
