Once Upon a time - The groom & bride asked me, Why would i need a good photographer on my wedding day?

and i answered...The Only Thing left right after your wedding day is Your Photos. - expensive investment on: Beautiful Flower, Delicious Foods, Wonderful Moments, Wedding Hall decoration all gone the next day. -

I want a perfect Wedding.

Yes we all want one....But You don't need a perfect Wedding - because perfect sometimes boring...On your wedding day... What more important is how much you will enjoy your wedding and treasure all the moments...

Work In Progress…

Wednesday, May 5, 2010 Posted in Actual Day Wedding

Work in progress…. welcome to bennyliew.com my one and only photography website. You might see something different and weird function or behavior with this site. I’m actually working and updating this website for a better viewing experience…

Some changes will include, a full view of 900pixel photos as my landing page. So i do not have to create another gallery to showcase my photos. The slide show will be a linear presentation so you’ll have to make a coffee, sit and relax to enjoy the slide. The slide will include, my Actual Wedding day fav shot, pre-wedding shot, Portrait, Beauty, conceptual, family portrait, all will be arranged based on category. I hope this will make things easier.

As i mentioned earlier on, We have a new full time  assistant at Benny Liew Studio.  he’s responsible to assist me during my shoot. but most of the time he will handle the album design and Editing process. I will no longer do the editing as i have someone who good and reliable enough to do the work for me.

So now i will concentrate on shooting most of the time. To Kenny Welcome to my studio :) .

Heartiest Congratulation to Alex & Corina! Yes my first wedding for the month of may Alex & Corina solemnized at Stella Maris Church and their first reception was held at corina residence at Kg. Mook Kinarut, while the second reception for the groom side was held in Le’ Meridien Hotel Kota Kinabalu.

I enjoyed working with you guys! i just love everything about your wedding, from wedding details, preparation, reception and the moments.  For a sneak preview i would love to share my pics created for these two wonderful couple.

As a always, i’ll shoot from wedding details, preparation, blessing, reception and portrait during the wedding day itself.  the schedule is quite pack and i have to be very fast without sacrificing the quality of every shots  i took and create for my client. This has never been easy :) but this what i love doing and doing it best. Working with my creative team Rithzal and my newly appointed assistant Kenny ng, will surely add a new creativity and fun to my work. To kenny, welcome to Benny Liew Studio. :)

Right moment, the right expression this is what i always emphasize on every wedding shoot i do. I wait till the right moment and click my camera.

c4

A father prayer, one of the most emotional moment…when a father and mother giving their prayer to their daughter and son in law it really makes me emotional…

With two of my assistant around me, we created this pic, with a little lighting added from the back and from the front to create dramatic and live photos – and this is a moment that will last forever…

c2

i call this  a tradition to every wedding i work with, yes it comes with at least 20-30 mins portrait session, creating the image based on my wild imagination with creative light added to the subject. we work hard and play hard to create the image for my couple :)

Another creative lighting shot, and this is a fresh from camera and unedited. Without CTO too, a lil bit tweak to my camera setting give me this result. :)
