Currently i’m in singapore attending Cm Leung one day Wedding Photography workshop. Workshop done today, however it was conducted in Cantonese language, though i was informed earlier on that the workshop will be conducted in english i’m kinda frustrated but what can i do? .

I just have to enjoy the workshop and trying hard to understand what he’s trying to deliver or explain instead of concentrating listening the only thing i can do is to observe. Well past is past i do learn something from the workshop.

Anyway, will start exploring singapore tommorow! see ya guys, will share some of my shots taken during the workshop haven’t have the time to process and refine the photos. Signing off from singapore!

Picture bring back memories, Picture, strengthen family relationship.  it’s hard to remember the date or the number, but we certainly will never forget the moments. Wedding always make me feel excited. I get to see people happily crying, smile, laughing and show love to each other. A Bride walking alone, and the groom waiting her bride patiently… are just priceless moment…. Same goes with peter & dianna, guys congrats! i had fun covering your wedding.

One day, you’ll flip your wedding album with all these picture in it, and tell a story to your children and grandchildren….

Moment will last forever! i met quite a numbers of brides and grooms in a year,  and they have different dreams, imagination and expectation about their wedding.  When they come to me, i normally ask about their wedding, the ceremony, and almost everything about their wedding details… in other words you can consider me as a wedding planner during our first  meet.

The most question they always asked is, Benny, Is it important for me to have a Photographer? and a videographer?. Well this is a very popular question for me… i never blame them, for me there is never a wrong or right question because every question has it answer.

The answer? some bride and groom to be, never realize that right after their wedding, there’s only two things left for them to remember. 1) The Photos 2) The video. The rest of the things is history. All the beautiful decoration, beautiful dresses, beautiful wedding hall, beautiful make up, beautiful wedding details, expensive food, expensive musician, wonderful singer, expensive wedding gifts are a total of waste…because you will never be able to see these things anymore the next day of your wedding.

It is very important to plan your wedding accordingly… no matter what, it is very important to have your wedding photographer and videographer.  it’s doesn’t matter who you hire as long as you love their work.

Yes, Perhaps My wedding of the year! and pardon with the title, this is not simply a wedding but this is a wedding show.  with hot and sizzling Black and red  wedding color theme the bride with Mask & the groom with fine white and black tuxedo with hat on the head simply rock the day.

Muzz & Lenny this is just great! i’m loving it, With all the sporting friend wearing black,red, sexy dress and with mask it is totally awesome! i just can’t wait to show off all the pics too! but hey hey wait you’ll have to wait for it guys.

Congrats to Raymond & Marylyn.  A good friend of mine finally get married!  A new stage of life has just began. congratulation once again guys!.  Oh i just want to brag a little bit about the Church, Yes it’s the St. Aloysius located at limbanak penampang! been going and covered hundreds of wedding but today, i’m blown away with the architecture of the church and its interior, it is  simply beautiful. We should have more church like this in Sabah. Agree? .

This is  just a sneak preview, Well if you wonder, this is my fine art photography approach in wedding. FYI,  i’m a die hard fan of fine art wedding photography, i see things from different perspective and to me being creative is crucial and important on every images i create for my couple.  I love the Ordinary  but having something different especially fine art , will surely gives you a timeless pics that you can never feel bored to look at.

Guys, enjoy the portrait session i did for them in less than 30  minutes.  The good things is, they have time and not in hurry during their wedding day, so i have the special time with them and create unique images for them to keep and share with their children and grandchildren later

Some changes will include, a full view of 900pixel photos as my landing page. So i do not have to create another gallery to showcase my photos. The slide show will be a linear presentation so you’ll have to make a coffee, sit and relax to enjoy the slide. The slide will include, my Actual Wedding day fav shot, pre-wedding shot, Portrait, Beauty, conceptual, family portrait, all will be arranged based on category. I hope this will make things easier.

As i mentioned earlier on, We have a new full time  assistant at Benny Liew Studio.  he’s responsible to assist me during my shoot. but most of the time he will handle the album design and Editing process. I will no longer do the editing as i have someone who good and reliable enough to do the work for me.
