Hey guys, Christmas is here again! Merry Christmas to all my lovely and beloved readers! thanks for all the loves for the past 1 year being a full time Photographer.  it was one of the most busiest year for 2009 and perhaps the year of Tiger 2010 won’t be a smooth sailing for everyone (according to fengshui readings) let just hope for the best and be prepared for any outcome.

For a quick updates:

Finally, what i always wanted to do…(which is to shoot a wedding at my own home town finally came true.   zarin As my niece bestfriend, They came to know me from this blog. and Philip told Zarin about my blog and asked her to check out my work… at first she asked philip… “Oh benny liew, Sound familiar lah that name, Hmm maybe Sharon uncle…” then, she call my niece to get a confirmation. Taraaaa, to her surprised it is me .  Then only she call me and ask about the wedding photography.

In guangzhou China, thanks to my wonderful supplier they let me to use their internet connection while my sister doing her shopping .

My first time here…and they said, you won’t be able to see blue sky… 365days a year…in guangzhou. my first day was yesterday and i had 6 hours window shopping and it is really tiring…

and today? its gonna be a long day…and hopefully we will be able to get all the things we want to buy. can’t call out or recieve call lols.. my credit gone zero… before i sleep there was still 20RM balance this morning when i woke up hmmm no credit left? RM0.84 cent.

Missing KK…..there is still more things to explore here….and the best thing i suddenly can speak chinese language? lols what’s new i’m chinese anyway “P.

tried to access Facebook to update my status..but i just can’t and it say… cannot access..don’t know if china blocked facebook access. there is an error here and there…but all chinese language..so i can’t read..

Back from Manila Philipines!

one of my aim this year to attend a photography Workshop or seminar or whichever that suit my needs! and yes jerry ghionis finally held his 1st time seminar at Makati Philipines. he is named by American Photo magazine as world top 10 Wedding Photographer and top 5 weddding photographer by WPPI and he is one of my idol in wedding photography.  his work are totally amazing! i just can’t stop looking at all his images posted at his blog specially his award winning images!.

It was a 1 day seminar and jerry tried his best to deliver as much information , yes he did it!  i really enjoy the session very much!, This is my first time attending a photography workshop and i have to say, i learn a lot from him thank you very much jerry!

I might be going for another workshop next year…. but i’m yet to decide who and which workshop.. it is very important for me to choose the right person to learn from..as when i attend a photography workshop i was not there to learn how to shoot like them but i want to learn other more valuable  information, such as, how to light your subject, how to pose them correctly and paying attention to every details on the subject… that is the most important factors for me and of course his work that will always make me WOW .

sorry to say that, i am not going to share any pictures of the model on that day, because i was there not to shoot but to learn from jerry, so i refrain myself from taking any photos during that seminar… so that i can pay attention 100%.

Other than meeting jerry ghionis, i got the opportunity to meet another idol, Yay! he is non other than Lito Sy, an award winning photographer from philipines. it was really nice to be able to meet 2 of my photography idol at the same time! you both are such an inspiration to me!  thanks for sharing with me some great information lito.
