I get to know rachell only through email and twitter, she contacted me regarding her wedding day Photography & videography coverage on 3rd and 4th of June 2012…. it doesn’t take long to click with her as Rachell is one positive, fun and a very responsive bride….  She is a Doctor. A Lecturer and a Worship leader…. ( and working in New york…)

We didn’t get the chance to meet up. talking in person  Discussion continue on Twitter & email,  everything is confirmed. Hence the date pre-booked for her…  time passes, she’s no longer tweeting actively as she as she normally do… all my messages and emails left unanswered. No reply.. no nothing…

then  on the 19 January, she tweeted me and tell what  happened for the long silence…

I’m shocked… and i thought she will be fine and will make it… Well… life is unpredictable….people come and go… and right after that day, she went on silence again..and yesterday, on the 8 of February 2012 only i get to know she is no longer with us… . on 29 January 2012 ( New york time) she left everyone of us… it was a shocking news to me…as i didn’t expect it will turn out this way…

I remembered, she wanted to have ” Good Life” song for her Wedding day same day edit video… and tell me how excited she is about her wedding this June… and can’t Wait for MR. June to come…i’ve seen her wedding gown picture, uploaded in twitter… its really sad… it is beyond my imagination. and i still can’t believe it that she is now no more with us…  and i hope her fiance will stay strong.. thru this hard time.. god have plan for everyone of us…

life indeed very short… Love & Appreciate never hate… Her friend carmela, told me in message, that she went to coma for a week.. and gain concious again.. for a day… and talked to her about her wedding day… how she wanted to go back and meet me  in person to discuss more about her wedding… Carmela said, one thing she never forget before she went on coma again, is when she said to me,  take Benny  as your  photographer for your maternity portrait…

rachell told carmela, if she fully recovered after the treatment she will come back to Sabah and meet me…to discuss more about her wedding…

I’m touched…. she is indeed a very nice person… positive and a very thoughtful bride to be… Rachell, i hope the new life of yours is even beautiful..and heavenly peace…

it is by choice that they planned to be together but it by fate that they were separated .. that is true love…

life is hard. don’t make it harder, make it simple. Nothing Last Forever, Love & appreciate. It’s been Three years since i started this journey. Being A Full time photographer and some says a professional photographer. Never in my life i ever thought becoming one till today. With age comes wisdom. Well i guess the only thing that go up and never get down is our age. So here i am hitting my 31st birthday on the 14 November 2011. Smarter,experienced,happy,decided,younger , and enjoying what life’s have to offer.

Apart from remembering my birthday, This is the month where i quit my full time job (7 november 2008) To pursue my photography passion and being where i am now… and i never regretted  about it.

p/s What matter in life is Happiness, no amount of money you have in had can bring or buy even an hour happiness. because happiness is in you and can’t be trade off with physical item. Love.Appreciate and never hate. Life is about making decision. & When you decide you will have to commit, when you commit, you’ll have to sacrifice. be firm and stay with what u decided. Accidentally bought my DSLR (canon 350D) because i’m darn frustrated with the performance of Nikon Coolpix point and shoot camera 7.1 MP. Oh gosh you really don’t have ideas how bad it was!. The worst among the worst is, when i have to wait 10 seconds to take my second shot! can you imagine that?

Well maybe just my bad luck.

Photography is just a Photography

I started this as a hobby, do not really know what i can do with my DLSR, i started it out by taking free photos of our one of the most grandiest event of the year. The Unduk Ngadau State level competition ( Cultural Beauty Paegant.

I am my own teacher

Yes i learn everything from zero, from my camera setting, posing my subject, creating my signature shots, come up with new ideas and creativity of doing portrait (eg, Huminodun the untold stories)

After few years of learning own my own, from Photographing to post processing, i started to realize that i need to go out and seek the best photographers to learn from. Of course this is one of the hardest thing to do because i need money and this gonna cost me more than i could afford. Imgagine learning from people who really inspired you, who makes you WOW with their works. and named as one of the best in their industry and some given the award as Top 10 wedding photographers in the world?

Creative Photographers

This is me, i don’t call myself as the classic,old & boring photographer as i tend to look photography at the creative side of it. I fall in love with photographers with creative ideas, concept, Where when they created a new shots it is by all means to show their best creativity with messages on it photos. It is not simply clicking the shutter, or just to capture the photos.

i started late, and this is all just a coincidence. So i have to find and discover the best of me in photography, find my best strength in this industry Or else, i will never be here and no one will notice my existence & for sure this blog will stay as my random photography blog.

Digital Inspiration – Photography Combine With post Processing – Creating Art.

Photography alone is boring. I’m glad that i do not have to go through a formal education in Photography. I do not have to spent years waiting my A4 size paper to reach my hand or getting the recognition by others so that you can start your own photography career. Though i understand you’ll you’ll get more knowledge attending formal education… But i guess it is too late for me.

I used to look at others creative works, digital inspiration and beautifully post processed. That time, i always ask myself, how come these Pro Photographers  have so darn nice,vivid images, sharp,bright, beautiful, & sometimes out of my imagination. Not knowing what behind their great photos… i keep on searching and do my homework, i guess that reading and homework thingy does bring me somewhere.

To make it short, Photography + Post Processing create art.  But hey, you have to start it with good photo & remember this, You don’t post process your images because you are capable of doing it… But you do it because that particular image are going to look even better & wonderful with a lil touch up or post process done to it.

P/s Think positive, Be Positive, you’ll surely be at where you want to be. Life’s hard, make it simple. don’t make it harder

Photo Slide Show

Now Photo slide show will be updated once every two days. We will slowly add more photos in the slideshow. Photos will be from every weddings that i ever photograph & consist of Wedding Details, Preparation, Moments, Portrait & Pre-Wedding Works.

We are actually considering to add Music to the slide Show However this will slow down page loading (Specially my landing page) I am not so sure if this is a good Idea or move.  Do share your idea about adding music to the slide show.

Anyway never mind called TM helpline  and hopefully they’ll fix it asap.  last Saturday i was at Shang Ri La’s Rasa Ria Resort for a wedding shoot for a  couple from France, (Olivier & Nelly) well i had fun, wonderful and great moments on their wedding day. lots of wonderful things happened on that day alone. The beautiful sunset, the amazing rainbow… totally wonderful.

I hope my phone will be fixed soon. so that i can share my photos with you guys.
